Things to Consider When Cooking Over a Fire Pit

Fire pits are growing in popularity and have become wonderful outdoor additions in many yard spaces. These pits can be either portable through the use of pots or permanent fixtures made of decorative stone or brick. The size and makeup of outdoor pits can be tailored to fit your personal wants and needs. The trends with outdoor barbecues have gone full circle that began and ended with open flame cooking. Charcoal grills were pushed aside for the convenience of propane fueled grills. Propane grills certainly added convenience to outdoor cooking, but left the barbecue taste behind with the charcoal.

Today's backyard parties and informal get-togethers are prompting more homeowners to acquire a new means of outdoor entertaining through open pit cooking. There are a few things to consider when cooking over an outdoor fire pit. The term fire pit can be used to define any outdoor open flame that can include cast iron and copper pots or cozy campfires. The style of fire pit is your choice but everyone agrees that cooking over an open fire is a scrumptious way to enjoy outdoor meals. Open pits not only cook delicious meats and vegetables, but also give warmth in the changing seasons.00003C19 Large pits can comfortably have enough space for several guests to sit close by and enjoy fellowship while the host is attending to the meal. Everyone can take part in the festive atmosphere that is associated with outdoor cooking over an open fire.

There are a few modifications you can make when cooking over your backyard fire pit. A grill grate, rotisserie, and tripod can all be affixed to accommodate your particular method of outdoor cooking. Another advantage with an open fire pit is the option of using either wood or charcoal as your means of fuel when cooking. Some prefer a wood or hickory smoked flavor while others enjoy the classic charcoal taste. A huge component in the experience of cooking over a fire pit is the bonus of having fun. Your outdoor dinner parties will flourish with the entertainment value that cooking over an open flame brings.

Barbeque Cooking Made Easy

If you have trouble cooking on a barbeque then don't worry - you're by no means alone. Cooking in this way can be tricky, but there are some handy tips that you can use to make things better.

So where should you begin? The first thing that you should consider is of real importance and it too often overlooked by amateur cooks. We're talking about the issue of food hygiene. If you're used to cooking a lot then you may be aware of food hygiene issues already. It's vital that you apply those same rules when cooking on a barbeque.

The way in which you handle meat is of particular importance. You should never allow cooked and raw meats to come into contact with each other. Equally, you should not allow the juices to be contaminated.

What this means for you is that you need to concentrate on how you prepare food, taking particular care to wash hands and equipment at regular intervals. If you're worried about being able to do this on the day then you should consider how much of the food preparation can be done prior to the occasion. Just as you won't want to take risks with the preparation, you'll also want to cook all food properly. It's vital that you have suitable equipment for the task.

Many like to use Weber BBQ grills, but you should use whatever you are comfortable with. Make sure that you know how the equipment works and which parts of the cooking surface reach which temperatures.

This is important because a failure to have this information will make it very difficult for you to cook food properly. You won't want to serve food that doesn't taste very good, or that could be harmful to your guests.

Cooking effectively on a barbeque needn't be an impossible task. Keep an eye on all food as it cooks, so that you are ready to step in if there are any problems. You can have an enjoyable day and make it one that your guests will all remember for the right reasons.

Cooking Chicken- Different Ways Of Cooking Chicken

Chicken can be cooked in different ways- it can be grilled, steamed, fried and even barbecued. Any method you choose to cook your chicken can still result in tender juicy meat if you follow certain procedures.

One of the most useful kitchen gadget you can when cooking any meat is the meat thermometer. It allows you to determine the temperature of your meat accurately and that is the key to successful cooking.

For starters, I do recommend that you season the chicken before you begin. Brining is an easy way to add flavor to your chicken. You can varied the amount of salt and sugar to your liking. All you need to do is to soak the chicken in this salt and sugar solution before you begin cooking for about an hour and you should be set to go. All you need to do after this is to ensure that you washed off the brine and dry the meat before you cook.

Here are some ways you can choose to cook your chicken.

Microwave
Cooking a chicken in a microwave can very convenient but you should be mindful that it can result in uneven cooking.

For this method, place your chicken (should be boneless) in a microwave-safe dish. Add about 3/4 cup of buttermilk over the chicken. Add in your herbs and spices before you cook the meat on high temperature for about 10 minutes. Remove the meat from the buttermilk once it is cooked and your chicken should be ready to serve.

Sauteing

This is a fast and easy way. By ensuring that your meat is thin, you should be able to cook your meat in less than 5 minutes.

Pressure cooker

For this method, choose to add your thawed chicken to the cooker together with your herbs and spices. Add about 1/2 cup of water and you can cook it on high. Your meat should be ready in about 12-15 minutes.

Whichever method you choose, do check your meat before you0000091E serve them. The above methods should allow you to dish out a variety of mouth-watering chicken dishes from now on.

By the way, you can whip up restaurant recipes in your own kitchen from http://www.pickupcooking. Anyone can learn how to cook, even if you have not cooked before. For more cooking ideas, go to http://www.pickupcooking/cooking/.

NBA Basketball 1/30/06 - Celtics, Timberwolves Square Off After Multi-Player Trade

Celtics @ Timberwolves: This game is only four days apart from when Boston and Minnesota exchanged players. In this game the home court really doesnt matter. Whoever wins probably got the better of the deal. Is Szczerbiak a better wing-man than Ricky Davis? Wally had an exciting game 1 but loses to his former team.Predicted Score: Minnesota wins 97-94

Spurs @ Jazz: Low-scoring? You betcha. San Antonio has the depth to mutilate any team. But since Ginobili got hurt it hasnt been the case. I wrote last Sunday that Duncan would have to have a big game against Denver to win. He had 14 and they lost. Again, Duncan has to abandon the team game and score 30+. Manu's impact is huge and we see that again as the Spurs lose in a tight game.Predicted Score: Utah wins 88-86

Rockets @ Grizzlies: Houston isnt so much a defensive team as they are a bad offensive team that slows down the game. Rafer Alston should be able to go over Bobby Jackson, but hasnt proved that he can so far. Keep an eye on Mike Miller. Hes T-Macs best friend and has all the potential to score 20. Houston gets pummeled. Predicted Score: Memphis wins 98-83

1080p HDTV

You may know that 1080i refers to 1080 lines of vertical resolution interlaced. This means that instead of 30 frames a second, the TV displays 60 fields per second, where each field contains alternate lines of the picture. Because the fields are refreshed so quickly, your brain interprets the signal as 30 full frames per second.

720p means 720 vertical lines of progressive scan video where every frame of the
signal is displayed in its entirety, giving a higher-quality, film-like appearance to
the picture.

Most HDTVs or HDTV-ready TVs support either 720p or both 1080i and 720p, very
few support 1080p HDTV. Part of the reason for this is that very few broadcasters
want to broadcast 1080p signals. The reason for that is that 1080p requires
significantly higher bandwidth than either 1080i or 720p. And for broadcasters,
bandwidth is a precious commodity. Using up more bandwidth for one signal means
that there is less room for other channels. So in many cases, opting for a 1080p
signal would mean dropping or degrading other channels.

Is 1080p HDTV important? Well, yes and no. Not all video footage benefits greatly
from progressive scan. Sports broadcasts and action movies look better at 720p
than 1080i because there is lots of fast movement and the interlacing in 1080i is
sometimes noticeable, reducing the quality of the picture. Movies and TV shows
where there is not a great deal of fast action look better at 1080i than 720p because
the higher resolution has a greater impact on quality than the progressive scan,
which has little effect where there is only a small difference in the image between
frames.

So, while 1080p HDTV is the best of both worlds, the cost in terms of bandwidth, is
very high compared to the benefit for most people most of the time.

Canon MV940 Camcorder

The Canon MV940 Digital Video Camera combines a 25 x optical zoom with a 32 x digital zoom. This camcorder features a selectable zoom speed to prevent jerky zooming, and records still shots to Secure Digital Card. The Canon MV940 is stylish and compact, and easy to use.

The MV960, Canon's MV940 performed well under optimum lighting, while low-light performance yielded significant noise. It boasts a very full feature set for an entry-level model, including a bevy of shooting options, fixed- or variable-speed zoom, and a wide-screen LCD. Initially MV940 is very impressing; it has a wide range of features, good quality video and is excellent value for money. It's still a very good camcorder, but it could, and should, have been better still. The MV940 should fulfill most casual moviemakers' needs. Canon's budget-pleasing MV940 MiniDV camcorder falls squarely between the MV920 and MV960. The Canon MV940 shares the MV960's 680,000-pixel, 1/6-inch CCD; 2.7-inch wide-screen LCD; simple, joystick-driven menus; and palm-friendly design. The MV940 is another budget Mini DV camera. Its main advantage is price, Mini DV costing considerably less than DVD and hard disk video camcorders. The MV940 is a perfect example of what a budget camcorder should be like; it may be light on the pocket but it's heavy in functionality.

Features and Performance

The new zoom control is good that Canon put into these camcorders. It lets you choose between fixed -- 1x, 2x, or 3x or variable zoom speeds. The variable works the same as most camcorders: the harder you press, the faster it zooms. The fixed settings keep the zoom consistent to ward off that herky-jerky amateur look.

Canon has managed to pack a surprising amount of camera in to such a small frame. The MV940 is one of the smallest Mini DV camcorders boasts a 2.7 inch widescreen display, 25x optical zoom, SD card reader and more besides. The Canon MV940 includes a lot of shooting options, including eight auto-exposure modes, three white-balance choices, nine digital image effects, six shutter speeds, and a level marker that overlays a horizon line on the LCD to help getting orient shot. Of course, Canon's Easy mode will make all the choices, if you want to keep it simple. Thankfully the quality of the MV940's video is much better. The image is smooth, the color good and the picture clear. The MV940's native recording mode is 16:9 widescreen, hence the inclusion of a widescreen LCD, which is a nice touch for a budget camera. Sometimes the option for black and white or sepia effect is included. It's now possible to have your video displayed on a rotating 3D cube or to ripple in a wave effect.

As you'd expect, the Canon MV940 doesn't impress with its still photography. Images are grainy and low-resolution, though colours seem relatively accurate. Video fares better. In medium and bright lighting, the MV940 captures crisp video with accurate color. In low light, the video exhibits noticeable noise, and Canon's Night mode doesn't help. The lack of a useful computer kit is annoying, but not unusual for a camera in this price range.

Apple iPod Review

Ok, so why is everyone so obsessed with the iPod these days? I mean, are they really necessary? I have plenty of things to listen to music on, including my home stereo system, my car stereo, my walkman, even my computer. Why do I need an iPod?

Well, once I used my friend's iPod, I was hooked! You simply hit play, and the thing will go forever! So yes, I now see the need for an iPod. Maybe you are like I used to be, not sure if you actually need an iPod. Hopefully this Apple iPod review will help you make an educated decision on whether to buy.

There are all kinds of iPods you can buy, starting with the 1 GB Shuffle (GB stands for Gigabyte). You can also get the 120 GB iPod Classic, which is a lot more expensive, but also has a lot more features. There's also the iPod Nano, which has either 8 GB or 16 GB.

You can do all kinds of things with an iPod in addition to listening to songs. You can play games, listen to podcasts and audiobooks, view photo albums, and watch movies and television shows (recorded, not live)

At the iTunes Store, you can get access to thousands of podcasts for free. This is like listening to the radio, without the commercials. You can get stuff from ABC News, Comedy Central, PBS, ESPN, and many other channels.

As I continue with my Apple iPod review, I want to look at the some of the extras that you get with your iPod which are not entertainment related. This includes calendars, contacts, and a world clock. You can also set your iPod so that only you can see the contents on it. And the Apple iPod also has a stopwatch, which is a nice feature for when you go to the gym, which is one of the places where the iPod or any other MP3 player comes in handy the most.

Some of the iPod accessories you get are USB 2.0 cable, dock adapter, quick start guide, and a case.

Hopefully this Apple iPod review was helpful. If you are considering getting one yourself, click here to find some of the cheapest iPods you can find anywhere

Dell XPS M1530 - First Impressions

Upon receiving the Dell XPSM1530 at my door step and unboxing it, I noticed immediately that it came with only the bare essentials. I knew before hand that the setup I had ordered was not coming with a laptop bag and I knew that, but checking out some video reviews of the Dell XPS system other people received, I was at least expecting a few more peripherals.

In these other reviews, I noticed that the systems came with a nice Dell XPS branded leather CD case which contained all the driver CDs and bundled software programs, as well as a few other nice touches like pouches for the small remote that comes with each XPS system. But I got none of that.

It could be because Dell is starting to cut costs in these troubling economic times and I guess I can understand their position.

Upon start up, which took less than 1 minute total to do, I noticed that all the drivers, windows, software etc. was already pre installed on the system. This was great, as some older laptop models I've used before only had the drivers and the operating system installed.

The remote control was packed separately in it's own small box, accompanied by a small battery. Once the battery is installed, the remote slots into a small opening on the right hand side of the computer, almost completely flush with the laptop's casing. You barely notice it's there. Testing it with the Windows Media Center showed that it was pretty responsive as well.

The remote has the ability to control basic playback functions, as well as the volume of the computer. It can also be used to control power point presentations which is a neat little extra.

Also boxed separately are the earphones for the laptop. These earphones are the ones which almost completely block out all sound when they are in your ear, although the sound can get a bit intense for some as it does direct all sound straight at your ear drums. Their quite small and can be put aside in a small pouch that is provided.

Find out more about the Dell XPS at http://dellxpsm1530.blogspot.com, showcasing video reviews, pictures, resources and user experiences. Dell XPS systems are also available for sale on the site.

How to Photograph the Moon

Photographing the moon can be tricky. Last year I had a go at it and it was a complete disaster with the moon looking like a big bright blurry mass in the sky. After a bit of trial and error I discovered how to take nice shots of the moon. Please see the two examples to the right.

The right lens

The first thing you need is a powerful zoom lens. The moon may look big in the night sky but when your camera takes a photo of it, the moon will only fill a tiny portion of the photo. On a 50mm lens the moon with be nothing more than a dot in your picture. The lens I used in the photos opposite were taken on a Canon 100-400mm lens which was a lot better but to be honest an even longer zoom would have been better.

Keep it steady

The next thing you 100% need is a tripod. Keeping the camera still is essential for getting a sharp image, and if your using a long zoom lens camera shake will be an issue as it's the longer the zoom the more camera shake affects the image. The tripod will hold the lens still and allow you to take a sharp image. Also you will need to use either the cameras timer function or a shutter release cable to trigger the camera shutter... otherwise you can jolt the camera while taking the photo and get blurred results.

Aperture

What f-number/aperture should you use? The first thing that comes to mind is a low f-number i.e. f4.0 or lower to take in more light. This is where I went wrong - the moon is actually very bright in the sky and using a low f-number can completely blow out the moon and make it look more like the sun. The ideal f-number would be somewhere between f11 and f16.

Shutter speed

For Shutter speed again you would assume a slow speed but again this is the opposite. Since the moon is bright you don't need as much time to capture the light it gives off. Also the moon actually moves quite fast along the night sky - if you have a 400mm lens or longer you can actually see the moon moving slowly across the viewfinder. If we used a slow shutter speed then the actual movement of the moon could cause us to lose detail. This is why I would recommend a speed of around 1/125 - 1/250.

ISO speed I would have around 200-400 and then just experiment with different combinations of ISO, aperture and shutter speed with the guidelines above until you get a nice exposure of the moon. You may need to also experiment if the moon is showing different amounts depending on the time of the month.

Cropping

Once you have your perfect shot load it onto your computer. Even on a 400mm lens the moon can still take up a relatively small area of your photo. If you got your settings spot on and managed to get a very sharp photo of the moon then you can crop your image and even zoom in a little bit so the moon itself fits better in the finished framing of your photo.

Conclusion

  • Use a long zoom lens.
  • Always use a tripod and shutter release or timer cable.
  • Don't use a low f-number.
  • Don't use a slow shutter speed.

Cancer Can Be Cured

First off, let me clarify something.

I'm not a doctor, and you should always seek the help of qualified medical professionals before undertaking any treatment method. I am an independent researcher with aging parents who I plan to keep alive and healthy as long as possible. I've researched lots of ways to treat and cure "incurable" diseases, and I believe that this information should be available and known so that people can begin to help themselves.

Now that being said,

Did you know that cancer is not a new phenomenon? Of course it's a lot more common nowadays. Many health professionals attribute this rise in cancer rates to the prevalence of GMO (genetically modified) foods, the widespread use of plastics, and the all but ever-present electromagnetic fields that seem to surround us all day every day.

But there are things that you can do to reduce your chances of getting cancer, and to "cure" yourself of cancer if you already have it. Of course by "cure" I mean that you can reduce the amount of cancerous cells in your system to such a low level, that the disease ceases to be detectable, and ceases to cause you any health problems.

If you have a gene that predisposes you to cancer then I'm not aware of any herb that will remove the genetic predisposition, but you can affect a "cure" for the cancer itself, according to the research of some very passionate doctors, scientists, and researchers.

Hulda Clark

Dr. Hulda Clark was one of the pioneers in a field called electro-medicine. Her methods have, according to numerous testimonials and media reports, helped thousands of people eradicate cancer without harmful chemotherapy and drugs. She also prescribed certain herbs (including wormwood and black walnut hull) to remove the virulent fungus and parasites that she found to contribute to cancerous growth.

Garlic

Garlic is the mother of all medicinal herbs. Garlic has been found by numerous researchers to cure everything from cancer to the common cold. It is worth noting that ancient people in the Middle East and the Americas have been using garlic for perhaps thousands of years to treat early stage cancers of every type.

Water

I know it sounds too easy to be true, but many competent doctors and scientists have found a strong linkage between certain types of cancer and a deficiency in regular water intake. This may due to water's role in regulating the P.H. balance in the body. It has been found that cancer cannot live in an alkaline environment, but thrives in an acidic environment. Regular water intake helps to keep the P.H. balance within healthy ranges and it flushes out toxins.

Essiac

Rene Caisse was a Canadian nurse who discovered, according to many sources, met an elderly lady who knew the secret to how Native Americans (called the First Nations in Canada) have been curing cancer without surgery just by drinking an herbal tea. Her formula for this tea is:

  1. 6.5 cups burdock root
  2. 1 pound sheep sorrel
  3. 0.25 pounds slippery elm bark
  4. 1 pound Turkish rhubarb root

She (Mrs. Caisse) was very adamant that to be effective this tea had to be boiled for several minutes, then left to steep for several hours before drinking.

I hope this info helps someone out there who may be in need. If it does help you, be sure to tell others about it so that we can all be healthier, live longer, and love better!

3 Tips to Buying the Right Digital Camera

Photography started a long time before we were even born. From that basic photography technique to the advanced digital photography from our present days, it has advanced a lot. A lot of people go into digital photography because they want to have some fun. But, choosing a digital camera that will do everything you need isn't always that fun or easy.

Below are a few tips on how to choose a digital camera:

1. Answer some questions

Are you a beginner in taking photographs? Why do you want to buy a camera? Do you intend to sell photos and make a living from this, or you just want to take photos with your friends and family at Christmas? By answering these questions you will be able to choose a digital camera that does everything you need.

If you're a beginner when it comes to taking photos, you probably shouldn't spend money on a DSLR. It doesn't matter that you can afford that camera, the point is that it comes with a lot of options, which can be a bit overwhelming for a beginner. Instead, buy a compact digital camera and take photos with it, learning how to improve your skill. Point and shoot digital cameras aren't just for keeping memories. They can be used by beginners to learn the basics of photography. After you do get used to them, you can buy a more expensive DSLR and learn how to use the manual modes.

2. Do your research

When you decide to buy a camera, make a list of all the brands that offer cameras that you would like to own. Learn more about the models they offer and buy the best camera possible. Details on how well each camera performs can be found in different blogs and magazines.

If you don't find the details that interest you, post your questions in forums that specialize on photography. A lot of people will share their experience happily with you.

3. Don't go over the budget

As digital photography becomes less of a mystery for you, you'll be tempted to spend all your money on high end, expensive cameras.

Instead, you can continue to use the current compact digital camera and keep improving your technique. Make the most of your camera and try to make some money from your newly acquired skills, by selling photos on the Internet. You can make money this way, for a better camera.

Convert Visitors Into Shoppers With 3D Product View Pictures

What makes a visitor buy from an online store? There are several factors and the most important are the price tag, the accurate description, the professional look, the trust and the customer support. However, online store owners know that they need to invest in design, to build trust through various means, to offer responsive customer support and to lower their prices in order to gain a customer. What most of them don't know yet is how to offer the best description for what they sell and grab visitor's attention right from the first moment.

Of course, you too have all the technical data, the manufacturer PDF files, the standard still pictures but it's not enough. These things are all over the Internet. You need a "hook" to keep your visitors on the site and to get them in the "buying mood". It is a proven fact that more time spent on a site means more page views. More page views mean more sales and once you made a customer happy it will come back again and again to your shop. Fortunately there is a way which can increase your sales and at the same time this feature is the most underused in online shops giving you the upper hand: 3D product view pictures. According to several retail experts it has numerous advantages over standard product photography and its price is competing with good still photos.

The main advantage is that a well built 3d product picture will present all the details of a product much better than any regular photo. Many people and probably you too thought at some point "I'm not convinced by this picture. I'd better go to a regular brick-an-mortar store to see it for real". In the online world 3d rotating images are the closest match to reality and they have the power to stop visitors going to regular shops. Another great advantage is that due to the fact that presents a product so well you'll see less returning orders. And let's not forget the brand awareness it can provide for your products and store.

Why isn't everyone using it? The main reason is that until 2-3 years ago the connection speed was low and a flash object could take some time for loading but now this shouldn't be a problem anymore. Is it expensive? It depends mostly on how many 3d pictures you need and what kind of products you are selling. If you are selling paper clips it is expensive and you'll need to sell a lot of them to recover your investment but if you are selling jewellery, gifts, consumer electronics, computer hardware, toys, housewares, sports equipment, health and beauty products, etc. you should definitely use 3d product pictures because you only need few sales to get the investment back. Is it hard to implement in a site? Not, not at all, it's just like inserting an image or a flash animation and the 3d product viewer can be easily customized to include your logo and brand colors.

Acer Laptop Battery Tips

When trying to extend your battery life, you can try one of several tactics. One is to fully charge your battery before using it. Another is to use the battery all the way down until it has no more power. This will help it charge more completely. Also, if the battery has a full charge on it after an hour or two, take it off the charger. Leaving it on the charger to recycle will also wear down your batter power.

Buying laptops with smaller displays may also help improve your battery life. Keep the screen on the dimmest setting that you are still able to read. Set the Sleep Mode on the computer. For example, if you haven't used the laptop in fifteen to twenty minutes, it will turn itself off to conserve battery energy. Make sure to also notice the power left on the battery at different intervals. This will tell you when the battery is almost dead, and you need to replace it before you lose all your documents.

Extreme changes in temperature will also cause problems in batter usage. Extreme heat will cause the power in the battery too quickly. Extreme cold will give the battery problems starting up. If at all possible, keep the laptop plugged in to keep the battery power for when you don't have electrical access for charging. If the battery does become warm or even hot to the touch, it may be a problem with the circuit that helps charge the battery. Make sure to have it checked completely if you are unsure by a professional.

There are three types of batteries used in Acer laptops. These are NiCad, NiMH, and Lithium-Ion. These all have different properties and cannot be used in place of one another. Check your specifications to find out which battery you need for your specific laptop. The NiMH usually has a longer working time than the Lithium-Ion. So choose the one that will give you the best working conditions for what you need. Another thing to keep in mind is the Memory Effect. Charging and then letting the battery go completely down every week or so will keep it from having a continuous charge and not downgrade how much it will charge.

Many people think they can just buy any old battery and go to work. Batteries must be chosen carefully for each Acer laptop. Keeping them charged and working is the key to success. You do not want to lose your important work because the laptop battery goes dead at the most inopportune moment. Take care to watch the meter on the battery and keep it charged to the full potential if at all possible when in use.

Product Review - Kodak EasyShare Z885 Digital Camera

Looking for a new, light-weight digital camera to snap those candid shots of your friends and family? Looking for a digital camera with a great amount of megapixels? What about a camera that's small enough to toss in your purse or pocket? Then look no further! The Kodak EasyShare Z885 digital camera may just be the camera for you.

For years I've been carrying around a camera that use to be top of the line back in 2004. Unfortunately, a 3.1 megapixal camera is no longer top of the line, so I wanted something better. I received just that for Christmas 2007-- my EasyShare Z885!

While this camera is perfect for me, it may not be perfect for everyone. There are a few pros and cons to this camera and how it functions. Here are the ones that I felt were most important.

PROS:

The amount of megapixels in this camera helps you create some of the most beautiful, crisp, and clean images ever. At 8.1 megapixels, you won't have to worry about not being able to see the blue eyes of your child or the lovely sunset behind the mountain peaks. Your photos will come out just as lovely as the moment they were taken.

One of my favorite features on this camera is the Undo Delete selection. Have you ever accidentally deleted something that you wanted to keep? All you could do was regret the mistake and move on, but not anymore! The Kodak EasyShare 885 has an Undo Delete selection that will allow you to immediate reverse an accidental deletion. This feature could be a lifesaver!

My all-time most favorite feature on the Kodak EasyShare Z885 is that it has the ability to zoom in and out DURING video recording. I love that! My old camera would only allow you to zoom before and after recording a video -- not during. So I was thrilled to find that the new Z885 did this. What a wonderful thing for those of us who love to take family videos.

The Z885 is a lovely looking camera. It has a lightweight, sleek design that makes the camera easy to take along anytime. This camera will fit into your purse, coat pocket, and even your pants pocket. It comes equipped with a large, 2.5 inch, color, viewfinder screen.

CONS:

My main complaint about the Kodak EasyShare Z885 is that there isn't a traditional viewfinder. The color screen is the only thing that you can use to line up your shots. This isn't really a big deal until you are outside on a bright, sunny day and you can't see a thing on the screen.

This camera has so many features and functions that it eats AA batteries like they are camera candy. I usually use CRV-3 batteries in my digital cameras, but the Kodak EasyShare Z885 came with two AA digital camera batteries. Well, those batteries were dead in a matter of a week. I've had the camera for about two months now and I've gone through four sets of two since those that came with the camera. I will be purchasing a new CRV-3 for my Kodak EasyShare Z885.

This last con is more of an annoyance. The Kodak EasyShare Z885 does not come with the AV-TV cable that is used to attach the camera to your television. My old Kodak EasyShare came with this cable, and I used it often. But, the new Z885 does not; you'll have to order one from the Kodak website or I've found quite a few of them on eBay.

In the end, the Kodak EasyShare Z885 is an all-around great camera. It's great for the point-and-shoot photographers among us. But, it's also great for those of us who like a little freedom in our photography. This camera has loads of options and a lot of ways for you to create just the image that you want. You'll want to watch your battery usage, stay out of the glaring sunlight if you want to see the screen, and spend a little more money if you want to hook the camera to your television.

I do love my camera, and I'm thrilled with the photo quality it gives me, but with the $200 price tag I probably would have looked a little closer at other cameras if I had known what I know today.

How To Easily Choose Comfortable Sandals For Any Occasion

Did you know that one of the oldest examples of footwear in the world is the sandal? Not only is it a common fashion statement for today, but it also flourished as foot protection throughout ancient times. Even the kings of Egypt wore sandals on their feet, alongside the people that they ruled. Sandals are not to be thrown on the foot like a slipper; there are certain ways to secure a proper fit. Since the toes are exposed with this type of footwear, this makes it somewhat difficult for some when it comes to choosing the right size and fit.

There are many different kinds of sandals on the market, offering a wide range of colors, styles and comfort. While some sandals are created to accompany colorful beachwear, there are other kinds that can be worn, such as with the sultriest of dresses. Other types of sandals are fashioned for adventurous individuals tackling hiking trails and other sports. In all these instances, you should find a pair that is comfortable, meaning taking care of your feet should come before fashion.

The best sandal for you is one that offers adequate support. Comfort and maintaining foot care are the most important factors to keep in mind. Take special care to the arch of your foot because this is the body part that helps to keep your posture, as well as allows you to properly walk. Try to purchase sandals that offer good arch support for your foot. You will find that some selections offer built in support while others, such as brands made from cork, will conform to your foot the more you wear them.

The sole of your sandal should be one that is a little bit bigger than your own foot. You know you have chosen right when your toes do not fall over the edge of your sandal. Beware of sandals with hard soles because they may cause pain in the long run. Sandal soles should also be thick. After all, this is the only thing keeping you from touching the ground. Thick soles provide much needed protection.

When purchasing a sandal, you should go for the ones that have straps that fit securely onto your foot. This is what keeps the sole from staying against your foot. Adjustable straps are a convenient feature to have on a pair of sandals, rather than an elastic strap that may stretch out over time. Choosing the right sandal for your foot is as easy as picking out thick soles, adjustable straps, good arch support and above all else, a comfortable selection. After all of that is squared away, you can focus on the fashion forward statement you'd like to make with your footwear.

3D TV Technology Has Plenty Of Applications

Three dimensional TV, or 3D TV as it will undoubtedly come to be called, is sure to become a winner when it comes to market in the future. This futuristic way of watching TV has been envisioned for years. In fact, it's a rare science fiction scenario that doesn't anticipate some kind of holographic or three dimensional entertainment or communications technology.

3D TV has a lot of practical uses for a lot of different people both professionally and personally. For example, the applications to diagnostic medicine are pretty obvious. After all, a two dimensional X-ray could never compare to viewing a scan of someone's innards from any angle when it comes to figuring out what's wrong with them. Three-D scans could take the guess work out of a variety of different types of surgery by allowing doctors to look at wounds, tumors, foreign objects, broken bones, and blockages before even opening a patient up. Plus, when combined with real time scanning technology that's already available, 3D TV could even allow doctors to look at the physical processes of living people in real time!

The applications for physicists, scientists, and engineers could also be extremely useful. Much like doctors could do with humans, zoologists could look at the inner workings of exotic, even possibly endangered animals, without dissection. Physicists will be able to use the technology to analyze complex processes that would be extremely difficult to conceptualize in two dimensions. Engineers will be able to do similar things with the technology in order to visualize the things that they're building and designing. If you think about the extremely small applications of nanotechnology, you can see how 3D TV could be extremely useful for the development of that technology as well. After all, with most other mediums people can look at their prototypes.

One of the first forms of entertainment that will benefit from 3D TV will be video gaming. That's because most modern video games generate their images in 3D and then convert them to two dimensions for display on a computer screen or a TV screen. This means that it would take only minor changes to how video games work in order to display a huge number of them in 3D.

Creating TV programming in three dimensions is a little more difficult, but several well known directors are working on 3D movies right now. There's also software under development that converts 2D video into 3D images that can be shown on prototypes of 3D TV sets. The software still has a lot of bugs that need to be worked out. While it does convert 2D programming to 3D programming, it doesn't render the images very realistically. At least one version of the software that's been developed so far is that it can be run on hardware that's widely available. In fact, a laptop computer was able to run prototype software without any trouble.

While we can't be completely sure how 3D TV will play out- especially when it comes to compatibility and creating programming for it- we can be sure that it is coming, and by all accounts it should be coming in the near future.

Incorporate Yoga Into Your Regimen to Keep You Mind and Body Fit

Yoga is an important form of exercise which is all about positive mind in a fit body. Yoga as a form of exercise is aimed at the connection of the body and breath with the mind. In fact if you look at the origin of the word yoga, it originated from the word yog which means connection or union. It is the union of the body and the breath with the mind in a positive manner.

Yoga is all about existence in harmony. This harmony is between the body and the mind. This harmony is achieved by holding the body in steady poses and breathing to relax the body muscles plus achieve a positive frame of mind. This positivity is the essence of yoga. The exercises or the steady poses are called the asanas. There are five major constituents of the yogic form of exercise and these constituent are breathing, exercise, relaxation, diet and thinking or what we call as meditation. Now there are special ways to achieve synchronization between each of these elements. The main element of breating is very important as that focuses on the fact that you exhale bad air and very bad elements from your body like toxins. This helps the lungs to get clean air.

All the yoga asanas try to achieve muscle relaxation by deep breathing and also try to improve the flexibility of joints. The underlying theme of each exercise is that these are done in a very slow manner so as to increase that flexibility. The yoga gurus believe that fast movements cause the production of lactic acid which in turn can cause fatigue.

As a word of caution make sure to consult the doctor if you have any medical conditions before you start working on the yoga. Also make sure that the atmosphere where you practice yoga is conducive to perform exercises. That said it is make sure that you have an empty room to perform yoga or at least clear the room of majority of things to get that necessary space for free movement. You need to have a yoga mat or something on the floor to sit. You can do it on the hard floor if you so desire.

Yoga will get you best results if performed twice during the day which is early morning and evening. Morning exercise usually will tend you get your body in flexible mode and evening exercise will relieve you of all the tension of the day.

So make sure that you get your yoga mat now and begin exercises. There are a number of videos available to help you guide through the various yoga exercises.

The author suggests yoga as a way to get fit which means you should buy wii as a first step and also try to buy wii bundle to save money.

DS Lite Fire Card - Making the DS Lite Even More Convenient With a DS Fire Card

If you love the lightweight feature of the DS Lite, but hate having to carry around all your games, then a DS Lite Fire Card is the best solution to your problem. The DS Lite might be easier to carry around than the regular DS, but when you add in all the games you have, this can quickly change. A Fire Card will provide you with access to all of your games on one storage device the size of a DS game cartridge. That means you won't have to bring a stack of games with you wherever you go, just one little card instead.

The DS Lite was designed to be a more convenient version of the regular DS. With that in mind, shouldn't it also give you the convenience of being able to play any game without having to search through your pile for the one you want? The DS Lite Fire Card can hold as many games as you want, depending on the storage capacity of the card.

With a 16Gbit card, you'll be able to store your entire collection. A smaller size card will only hold a few games, if that's what you're looking to do. If you're undecided, then you're better off getting the larger card so you don't find yourself limited by a smaller storage capacity.

Another convenient feature of the DS Lite Fire Card is the fact that it doesn't require an external memory system in order to be used. You won't be stuck dealing with FlashMe or PassMe to access your games. All you'll need to do is download and transfer the games you want to a DS Fire Link. You can then store those games on your card so you can start playing them immediately no matter where you are. Since the card fits into Slot 1 on your DS, it will be like carrying around one game. However, instead of being limited to only one game, you'll have several to choose from.

With the ease that a DS Lite Fire Card provides you with, you'll be able to enjoy playing any game you want whenever you want to play it. You won't have to worry about losing or forgetting a game if you use your DS Lite outside the house. You won't have to worry about being able to find the DS game you want in your unorganized stack at home. You can have instant access to all your games thanks to one little card.

Registry Cleaners Are a Must for Computer Users

For computer users around the world, perhaps nothing is more frightening -- or frustrating -- than a full-blown computer crash. While crashes happen for a variety of reasons, popular opinion states that risks can often be eliminated by using anti-virus software. True? Not necessarily.

According to Consumer Review, 95 percent of all window system crashes are caused by errors in a computer's registry function. Unfortunately, computer registries are also one of the most overlooked elements of a PC's maintenance needs. The reason for this is
simple -- most computer users simply dont know they even have a computer registry, let alone have the knowledge that it needs to be regularly maintained. Simply put, a computers registry is similar to the spinal cord in a human being; nearly everything that a computer does depends on the transportation of data through the registry. When a registry contains errors or becomes cluttered with unnecessary data, data transmission is restricted or impeded and leads to slow performance, unexpected shutdowns and/or system crashes.

Fortunately there are software programs designed specifically for the maintenance of a computers registry. Popularly known as registry cleaners, these programs scan a computers entire hard drive with the goal of identifying any errors in the registry. When a registry cleaner comes across an error, it isolates or eliminates the problem on its own -- no technical expertise or expensive technician assistance required. Thats not to say, however, that registry cleaners function perfectly every time theyre used. Incorrect alterations of registry material do occasionally occur, yet experts state that unwanted alterations are easily reversed. Most cleaner programs, in fact, offer backup and restore functions that allow a user to quickly and easily undo unwanted changes.

The process for obtaining and using registry cleaning software is extremely simple and straightforward for even the most novice of computer users. Most registry cleaners can be obtained online for a very modest price. Consumer Review, for example, lists its top 10 choices as costing between $29.95 and $39.95. Its important to note that registry cleaners are similar to anti-virus software in that they require a fixed-term membership in order to be used. In other words, the $29.95 that a user might pay to obtain a registry cleaner isnt a one-time fee -- after a set period of time (usually 60 days to one year) the service expires and the membership fee has to be repaid in order to continue use.

After a service is chosen and paid for, registry cleaners require little-to-no effort on behalf of the computer user. Although some registry cleaners require a user to manually run the program, most function on their own and perform regularly scheduled sweeps on a pre-set basis. When errors are detected, cleaners typically remove the problems themselves and require no input on the users behalf.

Based on the importance of proper registry function and the ease-of-use of registry cleaners, most experts strongly recommend computer users to purchase registry cleaners regardless of how often they use their computer. Considering that errors can pile up on a registry at a rate of over 100 per month, the clock is literally ticking towards a major crash for users who dont heed experts warnings.

Discover the best registry cleaners on the market. Have your computer running like brand new again in less than 15 minutes at an unbelievably low cost compared to expensive computer technicians.

Learning to Paint - Give it Away

One of the most rewarding things you can do with a finished framed painting is to give it to someone as a gift. Yes, you can sell your art, but when you give a painting away, it is like giving a piece of your heart to someone you care about. Lets face it most of us aren't going to become rich selling artwork. Most people take up the craft as a hobby to fulfill their creative inner spirit. I started painting as a hobby as my children grew and didn't "need" me anymore. I have never really had the desire to travel to shows and get my work out in the public for sale. I have and do sell work, don't misunderstand me, I just want you to know that true beauty in art comes from within your desire to make someone happy by presenting them with something as original as a painting done by you!

You can personalize your work pretty easily as well. For example, painting the mountain scene from the family cottage or camp would have an insurmountable sentimental impact to the recipient. My niece's first painting was titled "Pops' Cabin" whom she gave to her 90-year-old great grandfather. The painting was that of a cabin in the woods. It didn't resemble his cabin at all. The painting represented an important time in her grandfather's life and the time he spent there with his loved ones. The painting was from her heart and he knew that. Needless to say it brought him to tears because he was so touched by her thoughtfulness.

Landscapes, homes, vacation scenes, and portraits all can be created into un-price able works of art when given to someone you care about. Another reason to give your art away is this; Holidays and special occasions when you ask what to give the person or family that "has everything". I bet that they don't have a painting of their children playing on the beach on the last family vacation. They don't have a painting of the tree swing at the old farm house. Get the point! I know what your thinking, I've just started painting and I can't paint people! Believe me there are ways to paint the suggestion of just about anything - including people. The key is to practice, practice, practice. Do yourself a favor, don't be a perfectionist. Accept what you can do, do it, and then give it to someone.

Yes you will need to practice your painting skills before you feel confident enough to give your works as gifts and I'm not saying that your going to love every thing you create. If you are thinking about developing your skills as a painter, consider the pleasure you'll get and give when you give it away!

Now I have explained the joy and pleasure you will receive when you give a painting to someone as a gift. I sincerely hope that this article has been useful. If you are just starting out as an acrylic painter -keep it simple, have fun, and enjoy learning to paint.

Julie Shoemaker is an avid painter and hobbiest who regularly gives paintings as gifts to family and friends. To read more articles like the one here, and to see more free art tips, tricks and techniques and free step by step lessons please visit http://www.Iampainting.org

Plasma vs LCD Televisions

Plasma versus LCD a fascinating, complex battle indeed! LCD and plasma TVs each have their own characteristics. And the decision about which one you prefer has a lot to do with your personal taste, much like preferring a peanut butter sandwich to a jelly sandwich, or vice versa.

Let us proceed point by point.

Each pixel in a plasma TV is made up of three phosphors one red, one blue, and one green. They emit light when struck by beams of electrons. The quantity of light emitted depends on the intensity of the electron beam. It is the phosphors themselves that create the light one can see on a plasma screen.

On the other hand, LCD TVs use millions of crystal, which are suspended in a liquid that is sandwiched between transparent panels. A bright florescent light is in place behind this liquid crystal sandwich. The crystals are instructed to either let the light pass or block its passage. Color filters are used to determine color.

As far as size is concerned, both TVs were always thin, and so that question is something of a stalemate. For example, the difference between 3"" and 5"" seems to matter in case of certain models, but becomes almost immaterial when it comes to a large-screen TV.

In terms of the viewing area, however, plasma TVs have always been known for their larger sizes. And that holds true in general. Put in a different way, one will have a greater variety of plasma TVs to choose from when he/she is looking at the big models. But it should be kept in mind that LCD TVs, too, are steadily gaining ground.

Now comes the question of price. For a large-screen plasma TV and a large-screen LCD TV of the same size, the plasma TV would normally cost less. LCD TVs are, however, dropping in price, and it is highly likely that the two will be on equal footing in the price department quite soon. All else being equal, in the plasma vs. LCD TV battle, plasma tends to win on this one for the time being. But the battle goes on.

Plasma Televisions provides detailed information on Plasma Televisions, Discount Plasma Televisions, Wholesale Plasma Televisions, Plasma Vs Lcd Televisions and more. Plasma Televisions is affiliated with LCD Televisions.

The Next Club Penguin - Where is It?

At the time of Club Penguin's acquisition, there were 12 million registered users, with about 700,000 of these paying subscribers. Each of them paid an average of $6 monthly, bringing the monthly subscription revenue of Club Penguin to an approximate 4.2 million dollars. To top it off Club Penguin was also making money off virtual goods and online merchandise. For a 3 man team sharing that amount of dough per month that's pretty good money!

Disney's acquisition was a cash payment of $350 million and an opportunity to earn out an additional $350 million between the time of acquisition and 2009. This simply threw the world into frenzy.

Suddenly the folks who were already in the virtual world business began examining how they could emulate Club Penguin's success. Folks who were in the gaming business decided to get a piece of the virtual world business. Folks who were not in either industry but in the tech business decided to invest in virtual world R&D. Folks who had no idea how to go about this and had no money to invest could only look on.

One year later, there is still speculation whether there would ever be another Club Penguin, or whether there is already the next Club Penguin waiting to be procured. In the wake of the economy downturn, is it even possible for any company to fork out extravagant amounts of cash to procure a piece of virtual real estate these days

Today, there are several promising virtual worlds for kids on the internet, all with impressive membership stats and equally impressive Alexa rankings. But Club Penguin is currently still top of the game.

But how long more will Club Penguin stay at the top of its game? Is Club Penguin already waning in its popularity or will it remain champion for another few good years?

Watercolor Painting Tips and Techniques

Watercolor can add a lot of life to your work of art. With some helpful tips you can master and perfect the art of watercolor painting. Transparency is the most promising and the most attractive characteristic of watercolor. The watercolor feels like a sparkle of light which the color of the paper shines through the paint. The watercolor seems to blend with the color of the paper and it creates an illusion of transparency.

Some tricks can best work and create the best illusion for your masterpiece. The watercolor trick that can make your painting lively. Lift paint is a trick that a watercolor paint can have. A wet tip can add light with your watercolor. While you are working with your artwork you have to keep in mind that you must work from light to dark. This will create an illusion that your artwork is coming to life.

The paper being used for your art work must have that high quality and excellent texture. A dramatic effect can be created in the final outcome of the painting. Water color paper must be chosen promptly to suite the type of scene you want to paint. You can choose from the following types of water color paper like rough pressed, hot pressed and cold pressed. You must also consider the size and weight of the watercolor paper. This involves the fibers of the paper that you will use. If these fibers are treated it will decrease the ability of the watercolor paper to absorb the water. Lighter paper must be stretched before using it otherwise it will wrinkle when the wet tip of the brush works with the paper.

When you are looking for the best type of watercolor paint that you will use you have to consider the capacity of the painter, whether he or she is still a student or a professional artist already. When you are already an artist who can work best with watercolor, you can use artist watercolor paints which have more vibrant colors to choose from. It is really a matter of taste. Though it is best that you use artist quality watercolor paint, but you can always mix and match the colors. You can try experimenting with colors that you use to depict your work of art in the liveliest mood. You can purchase watercolor paints in forms of pans and tubes. To make the paint more workable and accessible you have to use water in order for the dry paint cake can be easily managed in paper. You have to make sure that you have rinsed the brush before trying other colors. This must be done when you are working with a watercolor paint in a pan. If you will not do this, you will get ugly and dirty looking shades of colors. You can try mixing and matching your primary colors to come up with your secondary colors. There are still pre-mixed watercolor paints available inn the market.

You can avail such, when you visit hobby stores and see if you have your most favorite color, Purchase only a few primary colors and learn how to mix your own colors rather than purchasing premixed colors. When you become more experienced, you can then start incorporating more colors into your palette.

Digital Photography - File Formats

Understanding file formats and knowing the correct one to use will save you a great deal of time in the future. Some file formats should only be used for web images, where others are ideal to get the perfect print.

Here is a list of the most popular ones and the file formats that you should consider.

JPEG: stands for Joint Photography Expert Group, and is a file format based on a data-compression system that reduces file size to as little as ten percent of the original size without any great loss to the image quality. This is an ideal format for web use.

When saving your image as a jpeg you can control the quality standard by selecting different settings. If the image is needed for large reproduction work a large setting of 9 or 10 should be selected. If the image is for web use only use a setting of 3 or 4.

GIF: stands for Graphic Interchange Format. GIF is also compression format and is special designed for use over the web. GIF consists of a standard set of 216 colours. This format is suitable for photography because of the loss to image quality.

TIFF: stands for Tag Image File Format and is the best choice for images that are going to be reproduced as prints. A TIFF image can be compressed, but takes forever when trying to open.

PNG: stands for Portable Network Graphics and is mainly used for web images. Experts say that this will become the standard for web images - replacing GIF as the standard.

Your digital photo software may support other formats, such as Photoshop, but its best to use the standard ones. Photoshop is becoming very popular and is a great tool for editing digital images. Most photography companies that are looking to digital images wont accept a format that is not widely used and looses image quality.

Whenever you need to save a digital image, its best to use a format where you can hold as much quality as possible. TIFF is the best choice for images that are going to be use in print.

My choice is JPEG for web images and TIFF for large reproductions. If you are unsure of the format to
use - use TIFF. Images can be reformatted to a different file format at any time.

Admissibility of Forensic Animations

One of the biggest concerns for lawyers when embarking on a forensic animation is whether or not they will be admitted into a court of law. There have been several cases where an animation was rejected by a court due to it being highly prejudicial or inaccurate in its display of events, however today, it is quite rare to hear about an animation which has not been accepted in court. This raises the possibility that either courts have become more accepting of animations or more forensic animators are adhering to the admissibility guidelines for demonstrative evidence (or both).

Below is a set of questions that an attorney should ask about the preparation of a forensic animation. These questions should always be addressed when opting to enter a forensic animation as demonstrative evidence. Failing to adhere to one or more of these rules may not immediately mean an animation will be rejected, however it does increase the likelihood that the animation will be thrown out or the weight of evidence will be respectively applied.

1. How is the forensic animation relevant to the case?
Relevance is a key factor to getting a forensic animation entered into a court of law. There should be a clear objective for the animation as it can help to drive home a key point or demonstrate the timing of an event that could otherwise be difficult to do in words alone. Often, it is important to get a witness to testify that the animation is a good representation of what occurred or in the case of an expert witness, that the animation can better communicate the written testimony/report of the expert witness.

2. Who actually prepared the forensic animation? Is the evidence produced from a reliable source?
A forensic animation may be prepared by one person or several persons in a company. In every case, it is imperative to understand the qualifications of those who actually created the animation. Today, it is still very common to have a dedicated forensic animator who may or may not work in direct contact with the expert witness. In each case, the role of the expert witness in preparing and reviewing the animation should be confirmed in order to establish authenticity.

The software, process and methods used to create the forensic animation should be discussed. Depending on what is being demonstrated, there could be experimental or new techniques used which may not be verifiable.

3. Does the forensic animations' probative value outweigh the risk of prejudice? Does it aid the trier of fact in the search for truth?
One must always consider the impact that an animation may have on the jury. For example, many times, the events leading up to a traffic collision are the most important to understand. The subsequent impact and following events are a result of what happened prior to impact. Therefore, it is often only necessary to demonstrate the events leading up to impact. It may not be necessary to show how vehicle occupants were injured since it may not be a point of dispute.

Of course, there are different approaches in the legal community as to the level of graphic detail that is necessary in a forensic animation. Sometimes it is a result of being the prosecution or defense and what will prompt the "best" response from a jury. However, the best advice is to stick to the facts and do not be overzealous in the display of gore and special effects. Having a realistic forensic animation that is visually appealing is certainly acceptable, however, "hyper-real" graphics are not.

Also, when presenting a forensic animation in court, there should not be any sound or editorial comments other than the usual titles and descriptors.

4. What was used as the basis of the animation and how can it be verified for accuracy? Did someone check the data? Was the data entered correctly?
The accuracy of a forensic animation is critical since inaccuracies can lead to the animation being inadmissible in court. There should be substantial data for the placement and position of objects in a scene. For example, if a crime had taken place in a room, there should be sufficient data available to recreate the room as a 3D model to the same dimensions, scale and environment. This may be based on photos, total station measurement data, witness testimony or subsequent visits to the scene.

Verification of the forensic animation data is also very important to establishing accuracy. The animator should be able to prove that the animation is based on data, reports and testimony provided to him. Also, the supplied data should be independently admissible. The forensic animation should be shown to be in agreement with witness or expert witness testimony. In many cases, the witness or expert witness is required to be a vital part of the verification process. There is very little room for the animator to be creative and "add" his own interpretation of events as this leads to inaccuracies and inconsistencies.

5. Has the animation been prepared in time to allow for adequate disclosure?
The other side needs an opportunity to evaluate the forensic animation and respond accordingly. And although it may seem obvious, the animation must be completed prior to trial. Ensure that the animator has ample time to prepare, verify and then package the animation such that it can be served in advance of the due date. Edits, changes, different scenarios and additional work need to be taken into consideration for the delivery.

As more forensic animations make their way into the courtroom, it may cause some to take liberties with the admissibility guidelines. In fact, the pendulum seems to have swung the other way and there have been a variety of animations that often push the limits of these guidelines. Each case has its own set of conditions and there may be cases where the guidelines are bent. Nonetheless, a strong case also needs strong evidence that adheres to some of the fundamental principles of demonstrative evidence.

Everyone Loves To Wear A Hat - What Kind Are You Going To Wear To The Party?

Let your imagination run wild. You can find party hats in all sorts of colors and styles. Party hats can be found in the usual paper constructed cone shaped variety to the fancy party hats worn to events such as Halloween, New Years Eve, or themed parties, etc.

If you are having a western themed party, why not step it up a notch and buy some cowboy hats for your guests to complete the theme. You can take the theme even farther by adding a bandana worn around your neck.

Hats are also available that are made from plastic that is injected into a mold. These hats can be found in various styles such as construction hats, fire chief hats, and camouflaged army hats. The fun thing with these hats is that after the party is over, the children can take them home with them and use them again when they are playing.

Another great idea is to purchase a bunch of different types of hats and let your guests decorate them in their own style. Take a trip to your local craft store and youll be amazed with all the items that are available. These items dont need to be expensive. You can buy confetti, buttons, silk flowers, beads, etc. If your party has a theme, try to find items that coordinate with the theme. Even if it does not make sense when you are selecting these items, your guests might just surprise you with their creations!

To do this, youll need to set up a couple of tables. Set one table up as a work station. Youll want to place some chairs around it and have several glue guns available. On the second table, place the various items you have purchased to hot glue onto their hat.

You can even give out prizes to the guests who have the best hats. Awards can be given based on the most creative hat, the most colorful hat, etc. This can be a great way to get guests to mingle with others that they might not have otherwise.

Introduction to Computer Programming and Software Engineering

Software engineering and computer programming are interesting subjects. In order to understand these subjects, we will need to look at a number of examples and case studies.

Also we will need to see how we can develop or program good software and how it could be improved in different scenarios? How is it involved?

Before we move on to software engineering, we need to understand what software actually is. Let's start from the fundamental basics.

What is Software?

When we write a program for computer, it is named as Software. This is actually the basic definition of software.

Software is not just a program; many things other than the program are also included in software. Simply put, written programs or procedures.

Some of the constituted items of software are:

Program: The program or code itself is definitely included in the software.

Data: The data on which the program operates is also considered as part of the software.

Documentation: Another very important thing that most of us forget is documentation. All the documents related to the software are also considered as part of the software.

So, the software is not just the code written in COBOL, Java, FORTRAN or C++. It also includes the data and all the documentation related to the program.

Why is it Important?

No doubt software is playing a vital role in all the fields of life these days. We can see many software applications being operated around in our daily routines. Some of the major areas in which software has played an important role are identified as under:

- Business decision-making: Software systems have played a major role in businesses where you have to analyze your data and on the basis of that analysis you have to make business decisions.

- Modern Scientific Investigation and Engineering Problem Solving: Scientific investigations and engineering problem solving require an intensive amount of calculations and data analysis. This process has become very easy and accurate by the use of software.

- Games: We see many computer games these days that interest people of all ages. All these games are drive through software systems, as told by your Programming Tutor.

- Embedded Systems: We see many kinds of gadgets being employed in our daily used things, like small microcontrollers used in our cars, televisions, microwave ovens etc. All these are controlled with software.
